2024 LCC Short Term Mission Schedule
United Kingdom
Date: April 19-28, 2024
Ministry Description:
- Partner with local churches & leaders to reach & minister to the new Hong Kong immigrants
- Street evangelism
- Home visitations
- Help to develop 2nd generation ministries
Open to (but not limited to): Christians high school and up, families, can speak and/or understand English and/or Cantonese, English & Chinese congregations
Egypt
Date: Mid-July (2 weeks)
Ministry Descriptions:
- Partner with the local community center
- Befriend Syrian and Sudanese refugees
- Teach Day Camp to refugee children
- Home visitations
- Encouragement time with locals and new siblings
- Sports/activities day for families
Open to (but not limited to): Christians high school and up, English & Chinese Congregations
Youth STM
Date: Mid-July (1 week)
Ministry Descriptions:
- Partner with a mission agency & ministry to reach the community
- Share & show God’s love in the local community via nursing homes, food banks, local church ministries, VBS’s, service projects, etc.
Open to (limited to only): Middle School and High School (Rising 7th graders to rising 12th graders)
Nepal & India
Date: End of October to beginning of November (2 weeks)
Ministry Descriptions:
- Partner with the local churches & leaders
- Visit ministries in Nepal and in Siliguri, India
- Host children, youth, men’s & women’s program at churches in Kolkata
- Sharing personal conversion testimonies
Open to (but not limited to): Christians College and above, English & Chinese congregations
Japan
Date: End of December- early January (2 weeks)
Ministry Description:
- Partner with missionaries & local leaders
- Plan outreach events for the community (Baking classes, Christmas/New Year Parties,etc.)
- Engage in English Conversations & cultural exchange with High School students
- Befriend & encourage Japanese Christians
- Take prayer walks at memorial sites from the 3.11 Tohoku Earthquake & Tsunami
- Visit Cell group/Small Group
Open to (but not limited to): Christians high school and up, families, English & Chinese congregations
*Chile STM will be on hold for 2024

- 與當地弟兄姊妹及新信徒交流和鼓勵
- 家庭運動\活動日
歡迎 (但不限於): 高中或以上的基督徒，中英文堂弟兄姊妹
青少年短宣
日期：七月中（一周）
事工：
- 與差傳機構合作，拓展及接觸社區
- 在社區中，透過探訪護理中心，食物援助中心，參與本地教會事工，暑期聖經班，不同的服侍項目，分享和彰顯神的愛。
只歡迎：中學及高中生（升七年班至升十二年班學生)
尼泊爾及印度
日期： 十月底至十一月初（兩周）
事工：
- 協助當地教會和領袖
- 參觀在尼泊爾、西里古里、印度的事工
- 在加爾各答教會中舉行兒童、青年、弟兄及姊妹的聚會
- 分享個人見證
歡迎 (但不限於)：大學及以上基督徒，中英文堂弟兄姊妹
日本
日期： 十二月底至一月初（兩周）
事工：
- 協助宣教士和當地領袖
- 於當地社區中舉行外展活動（烘焙班，聖誕及新年聚會等等）
- 向當地高中生提供英語會話對答機會和文化交流
- 認識及鼓勵日本信徒
- 於311地震及海嘯紀念區域進行禱告步行
- 小組探訪
